gather360 Release 2.17 and 2.18

We've launched two exciting new features to the gather360 application. These will enable you to:
  1. Automatically upload data files via email attachment
  2. Connect gather360 to existing Snowflake & Azure Storage Accounts

Release 2.17 - Automatically Upload Data Attachments.
  1. This feature enables users or data suppliers to upload data automatically, without needing to log into gather360.
  2. When the feature is enabled, data can be sent as an email attachment to a unique email address generated by gather360.
  3. gather360 automatically processes the data, and notifies the uploader by email if errors are identified.
  4. Data Suppliers can 'switch on' this feature directly, without assistance from workspace users.

Release 2.18 - Connect Snowflake & Azure Storage Accounts.
  1. This feature gives users control over where committed data is stored.
  2. Users can elect to connect gather360 to existing Microsoft Azure Blob Storage and Snowflake accounts, or to create new integrated accounts at the click of a button.
  3. As with previous setup, all committed data is stored within client-owned infrastructure, to enhance security and improve governance.

Other improvements:
  1. Suppliers can now be granted limited access to contribute to LOOKUP datasets. This enables new values to be added by the supplier.
  2. The maximum upload file size has increased from 15MB to 40MB.
  3. The invitation process for Suppliers has been improved.
  4. New solutions have been added to the marketplace.
  5. New functionality to 'request support' with data solutions has been added to the marketplace.
