The gather360 KPI dashboard enables users to identify bottlenecks that are increasing your data preparation time and slowing down your data supply chain.
There are two elements that contribute to your data preparation time within gather360:
The data input & error method
Error configuration & information
There are four different methods available to submit data to a gather360 dataset.
Data is manually uploaded by users and errors are resolved by users.
This method requires time to submit the file, and time spent understanding and resolving data errors. The user may need to spend additional time liaising with the supplier for this to understand and resolve data errors.
Data is automatically uploaded and errors are resolved by users.
This method eliminates time spent uploading a file, but still may require additional time to be spent liaising with a supplier to understand and resolve data errors.
Data is manually uploaded by data suppliers and errors are resolved by the data supplier
This method enables suppliers to submit the file directly to gather360, and resolve errors directly. It can save suppliers time spent liaising with users to resolve data errors and does not cost the user any time.
Data is automatically uploaded and errors are resolved by suppliers.
This method eliminates time spent uploading a file for suppliers, and flags errors to suppliers directly for a resolution. It can save suppliers time spent liaising with users to resolve data errors and does not cost the user any time.
To speed up the data supply chain, users typically increment through each of these steps, starting out by manually uploading data to test dataset settings, then automating this upload if the data will continue to be sourced internally.
Where the data is sourced from a supplier, users can speed up data processing by inviting suppliers to upload manually. When the supplier is familiar with the data requirements, they can automate their data feeds using details in the gather360 supplier screen.
gather360 users or data suppliers can configure an automatic connection to submit data to a gather360 dataset without the need to log in and manually upload.
This action connects gather360 to a folder system which enables the tool to accept any data that is submitted to that folder and automatically map, process and submit it without intervention.
If data has errors, the data processing will stop and an email will be sent to the user or supplier who set the autoload up, asking them to log in and resolve the errors.
To set up an automated data load go to a datastore autoload tab and follow the wizard instructions.
